Chinese Chicken Salad Wrap

The perfect Chinese Chicken salad or wrap with a wonderful mix of vegetables, chicken, and wonton noodles, topped off with Litehouse Sesame Ginger salad dressing!


1/2 lb. asparagus, trimmed to small/medium pieces
2-3 mandarin or navel oranges
1 to 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
4 fresh wontons cut into strips
6 cups shredded cabbage
2 cups cooked chicken, cut in cubes
1 large avocado, sliced
3 onions, sliced
2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
Large flour tortillas (optional, for wrap)
1/2 cup Litehouse® Tangy Orange Citrus  


Boil 1 quart water, add asparagus and cook about 2-3 minutes(until crisp/tender). Drain, then put asparagus into ice water to stop it from cooking. Set aside. Peel oranges and slice, then set aside. Pour vegetable oil into pan (1/2 deep) and set on medium-high heat. At 350 degrees, add wonton strips and fry until golden brown (about 30 seconds). Lift out with slotted spoon and drain oil. In a larger serving bowl, toss cabbage, chicken, and asparagus with Litehouse Soy Ginger or Sesame Ginger dressing. Top with avocado, orange slices, and wonton strips, then add the green onions and sesame seeds. Can also put into wrap.
