This a quick and easy pesto that will be great to add to Italian dishes as a dipping sauce or spread.
1 Tbsp water
1/4 cup pine nuts
2/3 cup extra-virign olive oil
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
2/3 cup Litehouse® Instantly Fresh Basil
1/2 Tbsp. garlic
Combine basil, water, garlic and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until completely blended. Add oil and salt & pepper to taste. Blend until smooth. Pour contents into a bowl and mix in parmesan cheese. Serve or store in an air tight container.
