Baked Apple Split Topped with Vanilla Yogurt and Caramel Dip

Litehouse Chef Tony Merola™ created this recipe in order to provide a delicious seasonal treat!


4                      Tart green apples
½ cup                 Brown sugar
4 tbsp                 Butter
2 tsp                   Ground cinnamon
4 scoops       Vanilla frozen yogurt
lots  of          Litehouse® Premium Caramel Dip


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  1. Scoop out the core from top of the apple, leaving a well. Do not cut all the way through.  Stuff each apple with 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 tablespoon butter.  Place in a shallow baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  1. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, until sugar begins to caramelize and apples are tender.  Cut apples into quarters  (leave intact).  Place vanilla yogurt in the middle of baked apple and top with Litehouse® Premium Caramel Dip.
